French toast recipe spices....? pumpkin pie spices?

at my friends house we had amazing french toast. the recipe im making has milk eggs, and sugar....


at her house the mixture smelled like pumkin pie!! MMMMM how can i make mine like that? with cinnomon and what else? what spices make pumpkin pie smell like pumpkin pie?French toast recipe spices....? pumpkin pie spices?
You'll want cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, allspice, and cloves in these proportions:





1 Tbsp cinnamon


2 tsp nutmeg


2 tsp ginger


1 tsp allspice


1/2 tsp cloves





Mix these together and add in small amounts to your French toast batter until you like the flavor, maybe 1 tsp of the mix to start.French toast recipe spices....? pumpkin pie spices?
Ingredients And Procedures





2 lb Veal, shoulder, cubed





1 lb Pork, shoulder, cubed





1 lb Chicken, livers





2 ea Duck, breasts, cut in





-- strips, chicken breasts -- may be substituted 2 c Wine, white





6 ea Bay leaves





1 ts Rosemary





1 ts Thyme





1/4 lb Fatback, thinly sliced





3/4 lb Fatback, cubed





Salt (to taste) Pepper (to taste) 1 tb Allspice





2 ts Thyme





1/3 c Flour





2 lg Eggs





2 oz Brandy





Put the meat in a bowl and add wine, bay leaves, and 1 teaspoon of thyme. Let the mixture marinate in the refrigerator for 2 days. Line a terrine with the pork fat. Grind up the meats (except the duck) and toss in a bowl with salt, pepper, allspice, and 2 teaspoons thyme, flour, eggs, and brandy. ......
Pumpkin Spice French Toast





Two slices of Aunt Millie's Light Whole Grain Bread





2 Eggs





1/4 c. Sugar-Free Maple Syrup





2 Tbsp. Fat Free Cool Whip





1 Tsp. Pumpkin Pie Spice


(Measure 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon into a small bowl or cup.


Add 1/4 teaspoon of ground ginger.


Add 1/8 teaspoon of ground allspice or ground cloves.


Add 1/8 teaspoon of ground nutmeg.


Stir to blend.


Makes 1 teaspoon of pumpkin pie spice.)

Mix the eggs and pumpkin pie spice together in a bowl. Soak up the egg with the bread and cook in a frying pan. After it's fully-cooked, add some sugar-free maple syrup, perhaps a dollop of fat-free Cool-Whip and enjoy!!!
