What is a recipe for easy french toast?

no funky things like bananas or orange peel or any like that just good old french toastWhat is a recipe for easy french toast?
That's the easiest to make I think....





2 eggs


Dash of Milk


Dip you bread


Fry until Golden Brown

Whisk in bowl and coat bread with minture then fry
I made it this morning. Very easy.


4 pieces of white bread, egg bread, or potato bread (Arnold or Pepperidge Farm is best for Fr. Toast)


2 eggs, beaten


1/3 cup milk


Oil, margarine, or butter





Beat eggs and milk together. Use fry pan or square skillet. Heat oil, butter, or margarine in skillet. Dip bread into mixture, turn, and heat on greased skillet. Turn each piece when golden brown, Serve with maple syrup or jam. Sometimes I sprinkle cinnamon sugar or powdered sugar on on top.
Baked French Toast:





A unique method of preparation that avoids the traditional fat of frying, this recipe creates a delicious maple coating on the bottom of the toast.

1 cup light maple syrup


1 (16 ounce) loaf French bread


2 large eggs


2 large egg whites


1 1/2 cups skim milk


1 tablespoon vanilla extract


1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg





1. Coat a 3 quart oblong baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.


2. Pour the maple syrup into the dish.


3. Slice the French bread into eigth 2 inch slices and place over the syrup.


4. In another bowl, beat the eggs, egg whites, skim milk, vanilla, and nutmeg until well blended.


5. Pour the egg mixture over the bread, pressing the bread to soak up the liquid.


6. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.


7. Preheat the oven to 350 deg F.


8. Bake for 40 to 45 minutes, or until golden brown.

1 cup brown sugar 1 load unsliced French bread


5 eggs 1 陆 cup milk

In small saucepan, combine butter, corn syrup, and brown sugar. Cook and stir over low heat until syrupy. Pour over the bottom of a 9 x 13 baking dish. To turn this into a Praline French Toast variant, sprinkle a 1/2 cup of coarsely chopped pecans onto the syrupy mixture in the 9 x 13 pan.





Slice the bread into 1 inch slices. Place slices over the syrup mixture.





Mix together eggs, milk, vanilla and salt until well blended. Pour over the bread. Cover dish and refrigerate overnight.





In the morning, remove from refrigerator and bring to room temperature while oven preheats. Uncover and bake @ 350 degrees for 20 minutes. When you remove from oven, invert onto large serving platter.
INGREDIENTS


6 thick slices bread


2 eggs


2/3 cup milk

DIRECTIONS


Beat together egg, milk, salt, desired spices and vanilla.


Heat a lightly oiled griddle of skillet over medium-high flame.


Dunk each slice of bread in egg mixture, soaking both sides. Place in pan, and cook on both sides until golden. Serve hot.
whip an egg with a little milk, dip bread in it, both sides and fry until done.
Easiest recipe I use is, 2 eggs, a splash of milk, a teaspoon of cinnamon and a1/2 teaspoon of vanilla. Mix ingredients in a bowl and whisk them to a froth. Place onto a PAM sprayed griddle and cook. turn them once after the edges have browned slightly and let them cook for a bout 2 minutes more. Place on ceramic plate and enjoy with your favorite topping.
take two slices of bread , cut of the crust and put a spread on, like a sandwich ( i.e peanut butter) in a wide bowl crack an egg and add a little bit of milk, then put your ';sandwich'; in the mixture coating the out side and fry
MB is absolutely correct except! Do not soak too long as the bread will fall apart. Also, watch the heat in your skillet as if it is too hot the bread will burn and not cook in the center. A good medium heat is best.
eggs and milk beat together with a little Cinnamon and dip the bread in it ....yummy
One egg a dash of milk some sugar and a drop of vanilla essence give it a whisk and then have a hot pan ready to go grease with some butter and dunk your bread in the mix and fry wala you have french toast.
