I'm craving french toast...What is a simple recipe for it?

I need exact measurements not just ';a little'; or ';a few'; or ';a dash';.

And just with eggs, milk, cinnamon, and bread.

And it's just for me.I'm craving french toast...What is a simple recipe for it?
This is the simplest for me:

Several slices of day old French bread, thickly sliced

2 eggs, beaten

1 Tablespoon milk

1 Tablespoon Kahlua

Mix eggs, milk and Kahlua together. Dip in bread slices. Fry on both sides. Yum!I'm craving french toast...What is a simple recipe for it?
FRENCH TOAST

3 eggs, beaten

1/4 cup milk

1/2 teaspoon vanilla, optional

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

10 slices bread

In a large bowl, mix beaten eggs with the milk, vanilla and cinnamon. Dip a slice of bread into mixture then place on a heated griddle that has been sprayed with nonstick cooking spray. Cook for 1-2 minutes on each side on medium / medium-high heat or until desired doneness.
Well, I use an electric skillet, and I dunk the bread in a mixture of a couple of eggs, a teaspoon of vanilla, and enough milk to make the stirred mixture of the ingredients flow easily. Dunk the bread on both sides, put it in the skillet, cook each side til it's just a bit crispy. That's as ';exact'; as I can tell you.
2 eggs + 1 cup milk; whisk together. Soak bread on both sides, top w/ powdered sugar and cinnamon.
Scramble two eggs, beat in 2 TB milk, 1 tsp vanilla, %26amp; 1/4 tsp cinnamon. Soak bread 1 piece at a time both sides %26amp; put in hot fry pan, cook until golden on each side. You'll probably have enough egg mixture for 3 or 4 pieces of bread. If you get down to the last bread %26amp; egg mixture is not enough, put just a little more milk so bread gets completely coated.
Ingredients ~

* 2 eggs

* 1/2 cup milk

* 1/2 tsp. vanilla

* 1/8 tsp. cinnamon

* 3 tsp. sugar (add more or less if you please)

* 6 slices bread (pick your favorite kind)

* 1 tbsp. butter (for the pan)

Directions ~

1. Beat eggs, milk, vanilla, cinnamon, and sugar in bowl.

2. Dip bread into mixture (do not let the bread soak for too long) and coat both sides.

3. Melt butter in pan.

4. Put the bread in the pan and let cook on each side for 2 to 3 minutes.

5. Add butter if needed.

6. Serve the toast warm.

7. Add maple syrup strawberry's or whatever else you like

8. Then enjoy! =)
pre-heat a pan with some butter then do what you do when you make scrabbled eggs but instead of putting the eggs in the pan dip your toast in them for a few minutes on both sides and fry them in a pan and flip them over till they either get slightly roasted while letting them cook and when you want to take them off put them in a plate and put whatever topping you like on top like butter and syrup, just syrup, just butter... whatever ^^
2 eggs,which you should beat first and then mix with milk. Then get your pan ready with butter in it,it'll make it not burnt lol,or use a toaster over. After that,dip your wheat bread slices 1 at a time if your mix and cool in either one over or toaster until it's a golden color,and putting about a teaspoon of cinnamon on the top is awesome too (pick mine!)
To make regular french toast, you take:

2 eggs

1/4 cup milk

1 TB sugar

1/4 tsp vanilla

1/8 tsp cinnamon

Beat it all up with fork or whisk. In Louisiana they call this ';Lost Bread';

Heat a fry pan to medium hot, with vegetable oil or canola oil.

Take slices of regular bread, and start dipping them in the egg.

Dip and leave briefly, then put into the fry pan and cook till lightly or medium browned. Flip and brown on other side.

TEXAS French Toast:

Make with Texas Toast Bread.

If that recipe is too much for you, cut all ingredients in half. I have no idea what size servings you eat.
