Whats a good french toast recipe?

Please help and I can only use egg whitesWhats a good french toast recipe?
Egg-White French Toast:-








SERVES 4 (change servings and units)








Ingredients:-





- 1 cup 2% low-fat milk


- 8 slices bread, or 4 1-inch slices of bread cut from a loaf


- 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon


- 4 egg whites


- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract





Directions:-





1.In medium bowl beat egg whites well. Add milk, vanilla and cinnamon to egg whites and continue to beat.





2.Dip bread slices into batter and coat on both sides.





3.Cook one of the following ways: Place dipped bread in greased and heated skillet. Cook by turning a few times to brown.





4.Or, place dipped bread on greased or oiled baking sheet. Then broil in the oven (watching closely), turning only once. (Approximately 2-3 minutes each side when placed 5 inches from broiler top).Whats a good french toast recipe?
French Toast II








INGREDIENTS


4 eggs


3/4 cup milk


3 tablespoons brown sugar


1 teaspoon ground nutmeg


12 slices white bread


1 tablespoon ground cinnamon








DIRECTIONS


In a large mixing bowl, beat the eggs. Add the milk, brown sugar and nutmeg; stir well to combine.


Soak bread slices in the egg mixture until saturated.


Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium high heat. Brown slices on both sides, sprinkle with cinnamon and serve hot.





French Toast Casserole





INGREDIENTS


5 cups bread cubes


4 eggs


1 1/2 cups milk


1/4 cup white sugar, divided


1/4 teaspoon salt


1 teaspoon vanilla extract


1 tablespoon margarine, softened


1 teaspoon ground cinnamon








DIRECTIONS


Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly butter an 8x8 inch baking pan.


Line bottom of pan with bread cubes. In a large bowl, beat together eggs, milk, 2 tablespoons sugar, salt and vanilla. pour egg mixture over bread. Dot with margarine; let stand for 10 minutes.


Combine remaining 2 tablespoons sugar with 1 teaspoon cinnamon and sprinkle over the top. Bake in preheated oven about 45 to 50 minutes, until top is golden.
FRENCH TOAST





2 eggs, slightly beaten


2/3 c. milk or cream


1 tbsp. sugar


1/2 tsp. salt


3-4 tbsp. butter


8 slices bread, white or whole wheat





Combine eggs with milk, sugar, and salt in a shallow dish or pie pan. Dip bread slices one at a time into egg mixture, coating each side well. Transfer to a skillet which has been preheated with some of the butter. Brown slices over medium heat, turning once. Add butter as needed to keep slices from sticking.





Serve with butter, maple syrup, honey, jam or confectioners sugar. 8 slices French toast.





NOTE: To brown French toast in the oven, place bread slices on a well greased baking sheet. Place at 450 degrees for about 10 minutes for each side.





OAHU TOAST:





Drain contents of 1 (8 1/2 ounces) can pineapple slices; reserve syrup. Follow recipe for French Toast. Omit sugar and substitute for milk pineapple syrup and water to make 2/3 cup liquid. Lightly brown pineapple slices in 2-3 tablespoon butter. Serve half of a pineapple slice with each slice of toast.





CINNAMON-ORANGE FRENCH TOAST:





Follow recipe for French Toast. Substitute 2/3 cup orange juice for milk and add 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon. Or, add 2 teaspoons grated orange peel and 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon to egg mixture.
This is a French toast recipe with eggs and bread.

Preparation:


Break eggs into a wide, shallow bowl or pie plate; beat lightly with a fork. Stir in sugar, salt, and milk.


Over medium-low heat, heat griddle or skillet coated with a thin layer of butter or margarine.





Place the bread slices, one at a time, into the bowl or plate, letting slices soak up egg mixture for a few seconds, then carefully turn to coat the other side. Soak/coat only as many slices as you will be cooking at one time.





Transfer bread slices to griddle or skillet, heating slowly until bottom is golden brown. Turn and brown the other side. Serve French toast hot with butter and syrup.

Cinnamon French Toast Recipe


This French toast recipe cuts back on fat by using only 1 whole egg and 2 egg whites.


Ingredients:


1 egg


2 egg whites


1/4 cup milk


1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract


1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon


dash nutmeg


8 slices French bread, sliced on diagonal


Preparation:


In a shallow bowl, whisk egg and egg white until foamy. Whisk in milk, vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg.


Have warming drawer heated or heat oven to 200掳.


Heat butter in heavy skillet over medium-low heat. Dip 4 slices of bread in the egg mixture, turning to coat thoroughly. Let excess drip back into bowl.





Place coated bread slices in hot skillet. Cook, turning, until both sides are nicely browned, about 2 minutes each side.





Transfer to a warm plate and keep warm in oven. Repeat with remaining bread and egg mixture. To serve, sprinkle with cinnamon sugar, if desired. Serve with maple syrup.





Overnight French Toast

Ingredients:


4 tablespoons butter, room temperature


12 3/4-inch-thick French bread slices


6 eggs


1 1/2 cups milk


1/4 cup sugar


2 tablespoons maple syrup


1 teaspoon vanilla


1/2 teaspoon salt

Preparation:


Overnight French Toast


For the french toast:


4 tablespoons butter, room temperature 12 3/4-inch-thick French bread slices 6 eggs 1 1/2 cups milk 1/4 cup sugar 2 tablespoons maple syrup 1 teaspoon vanilla 1/2 teaspoon salt confectioners' sugar


Spread butter over bottom of large baking pan (jelly roll pan) with 1-inch-high sides. Arrange bread slices in the pan. Combine eggs, milk, sugar, syrup, vanilla and salt in large bowl; whisk until well blended. Pour egg mixture over bread. Turn bread slices to coat evenly. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.


Preheat oven to 400掳. Bake French bread 10 minutes. Turn bread over and continue baking just until golden brown, about 5 to 6 minutes longer. Transfer cooked French toast to plates and sprinkle with confectioners' sugar. Serve hot, with maple syrup or your favorite topping.





Blueberry French Toast Casserole


Cook Time: 55 minutes


Ingredients:


12 slices white bread, crusts removed


2 packages (16 ounces total) cream cheese


1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries, thawed


12 eggs


2 cups milk


1/3 cup maple syrup or other syrup

Sauce:


1/2 cup sugar


1 tablespoon cornstarch


1/2 cup water


2 cups fresh or frozen blueberries


1 tablespoon butter


Preparation:


Cut bread into 1-in cubes; place half in a greased 13- x 9-i x 2-inch baking dish.


Cut cream cheese into 1-inch cubes; place over bread. Top with blueberries and remaining bread. In a large bowl, beat eggs. Whisk in milk and syrup, blending well. Pour egg mixture over bread mixture. Cover and chill 8 hours or overnight. Remove from refrigerator 30 minutes before baking. Cover with foil and bake at 350掳 for 30 minutes. Uncover; bake 25-30 minutes more or until golden brown and the center is set.





In a saucepan, combine sugar and cornstarch; add water. Bring to a boil over medium heat; boil for 3 minutes, stirring constantly. Stir in blueberries; reduce heat. Simmer for 8-10 minutes or until berries have burst. Stir in butter until melted. Serve sauce with French toast.


Serves 6 to 8








French Toasted Ham Sandwich


Ham sandwiches are assembled then dipped in an egg mixture and toasted or grilled.


Ingredients:


12 slices firm white or rye bread


prepared mustard


6 thin slices cooked ham


6 thin slices cooked chicken or turkey


6 thin slices Swiss or American cheese


2 eggs, slightly beaten


1/2 cup milk


1/4 teaspoon salt


black pepper, to taste


3 tablespoons butter


Preparation:


Spread each slice of bread with mustard. Make 6 sandwiches using 1 slice of ham, cheese, and chicken for each. Combine eggs, milk, salt, and pepper. Melt butter in a skillet over low heat. Dip sandwiches in the milk-egg mixture, turning to coat each side. Brown in skillet.


Serves 6.

Cinnamon Toast Crunch Cereal

With a rolling pin roll out 2 cups of Cinnamon Crunch Cereal until it is just crumbs.


Beat 4 eggs, add 1 / 4 cup !/2 %26amp; !/ 2 cream,and 1 / 2 teaspoon vanilla, blend well


Melt 4 tablespoons butter in skillet to medium hot.. Dip texas toast into egg mixture( be sure to let liquid drain off some) than coat with Cinnamon Crunch Toast Cereal Crumbs , cook in skillet until golden brown on each side.. Serve with warm maple syrup... Best french toast you've ever tasted,,,,, Learned this in a cooking class from a chef
Crack the egg whites into a bowl, add a similar amount of milk, mix it up. To that, add some cinnamon and vanilla The cinnamon floats so keep that handy but otherwise its to taste.
