Anyone have a delicious French Toast Cake recipe?

I might have the name wrong but this is what the local bakery calls it. They make this amazing dessert that looks like chunks of bread in a casserole dish that has a cheese and a berry jam of sorts in spots throughout the pan. They bake it and then cut a piece out of the casserole dish and serve it with maple syrup and whip cream. It's incredible! The bakery said it's a secret family recipe and they won't share how to make it and I can't seem to find anything online like it. Anyone know a recipe?Anyone have a delicious French Toast Cake recipe?
It's bread pudding with the addition of jam and cheese baked into it -- then they dish it up and top with the maple syrup and whipped cream. You can very easily duplicate it -- bread pudding tastes just like French Toast.

* 6 slices day-old bread

* 2 tablespoons butter, melted

* 1/2 cup raisins (optional)

* 4 eggs, beaten

* 2 cups milk

* 3/4 cup white sugar

* 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

* 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

2. Break bread into small pieces into an 8 inch square baking pan. Drizzle melted butter or margarine over bread. If desired, sprinkle with raisins.

3. In a medium mixing bowl, combine eggs, milk, sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla. Beat until well mixed. Pour over bread, and lightly push down with a fork until bread is covered and soaking up the egg mixture.

4. Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until the top springs back when lightly tapped.Anyone have a delicious French Toast Cake recipe?
