Stuffed or regular...Peanut Butter and Jelly french toast recipe?
Peanut Butter and Jelly French Toast:





A delicious twist on french toast.





10 min 5 min prep


4 servings





8 slices sprouted whole wheat bread or your favorite bread


4 tablespoons peanut butter, to taste


4 tablespoons jelly, to taste


2 eggs


1 cup half-and-half or milk, if you prefer


butter-flavored cooking spray


maple syrup





1. Heat skillet or griddle over medium high heat.


2. Make four peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. Use more or less peanut butter and jelly as desired.


3. Whisk eggs with half and half or milk in shallow bowl.


4. Dip each sandwich in mixture, coating both sides.


5. Spray skillet with butter and fry until golden brown on each side, about 2 minutes per side.

I don't know but that sounds so good right now!
Icky. Never heard of it. Why can't you just make a PB%26amp;J sandwhich, dip in the egg/milk mixture and fry in a skillet like you would french toast?

INGREDIENTS:





* 1 beaten egg


* 1/4 cup milk


* 1/4 teaspoon vanilla


* 2 tablespoons creamy peanut butter


* 1 tablespoon jam or jelly


* 2 slices bread


* 1 tablespoon butter





PREPARATION:


Beat egg, milk and vanilla and set aside.





Spread peanut butter and jelly on bread.





Melt butter in a pan over medium high heat





Dip sandwich into egg mix until coated on all sides.





Fry in pan, flipping once, until golden brown.
