Does someone have a french toast casserole recipe for dry thin sliced bread?

I have some dry cocktail toast that's less than 1/2'; thick. I have about 20 pieces.

I would like to make a french toast casserole. All the recipes I've seen calls for the bread to be about 1'; thick. I'm not sure if any of those recipes will work with the 1/2'; thick bread I have. What can I do with them?

Thanks %26gt;^..^%26lt;Does someone have a french toast casserole recipe for dry thin sliced bread?
I think any bread will work fine with this recipe

French Toast Casserole

Make this a day ahead of time and just pop it into the oven the next morning! Great for holiday mornings.

Serves about 8

10 cups cubed sturdy white bread

cooking spray

1 ( 8 oz.) block of reduced fat cream cheese, softened

8 large eggs

1 1/2 cups milk

2/3 cup half-and-half

1/2 cup maple syrup

1/2 teaspoon vanilla

2 tablespoons powdered sugar

Maple syrup

Place bread cubes in a 13 x 9-inch baking dish coated with cooking spray. Beat cream cheese at medium speed of mixer until smooth. Add eggs, 1 at a time, mixing well after each addition. Add milk, half-and-half, 1/2 cup maple syrup, and vanilla - mix until smooth. Pour cream cheese mixture over top of bread; cover and refrigerate overnight. Next morning; Preheat oven to 375. Remove bread mixture from refrigerator; let stand on counter for 30 minutes. Bake for 50 minutes, or until set (should be a nice light golden brown). Remove from oven, sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve with maple syrup.
