1/2 tablespoon butter

1.5 c brown sugar

2 1/3 cups milk

2 teasspoons cinnamon

8 slices of bread (give the extra to the birds)

8 eggs, sl beaten

1. In microwave, melt butter, cinnamon, and sugar.

2. Pour into bottom of 9 x 13 pan.

3. Take bread and double stack, placing four slices on the the bottom and four on the top; flip over so now most of the melted mixture is on the top slice.

4. Mix milk with eggs, pour over the bread.

5. Set overnight in refrigerator.

6. In AM, bake at 350 for 45 minutes.Whats a yummy french toast recipe that uses milk?
French Toast

1/4 cup all-purpose flour

1 cup milk

1 pinch salt

3 eggs

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 tablespoon white sugar

12 thick slices bread

Measure flour into a large mixing bowl. Slowly whisk in the milk. Whisk in the salt, eggs, cinnamon, vanilla extract and sugar until smooth. Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium heat.

Soak bread slices in mixture until saturated. Cook bread on each side until golden brown. Serve hot.

FRENCH TOAST

3 eggs, beaten

1/4 cup milk

1/2 teaspoon vanilla, optional

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

10 slices bread

In a large bowl, mix beaten eggs with the milk, vanilla and cinnamon. Dip a slice of bread into mixture then place on a heated griddle that has been sprayed with nonstick cooking spray. Cook for 1-2 minutes on each side on medium / medium-high heat or until desired doneness.

Serving Size: 4
Milk works fine! Add milk to eggs, spice, and a little orange juice with zest. preheat your oven to F. 375. Soak bread until saturated. Brown nicely on both sides and then put in hot oven so the custard mixture that saturates your bread cooks completely! Add orange juice or marmalade to real maple syrup with some orange zest and heat. Serve hot over french toast with butter!!
all u need is eggs, milk, sugar, cinnamon just mix the ingredients together, portions dont really matter. The egg is to make it stick and the milk makes it yummy i guess. then just dip the bread in both sides and cook on stove.
try food network.com they always have great recipes like chocolate and strawberry stuffed french toast

I always use milk..no need for a recipe, just beat about 3 eggs in 1/2 c. milk, add a bout 1/2 to 1 tsp. vanilla extract and a little cinnamon if you like it.
Here is a tutorial video recipe, only I add about 1/4 cup of sugar to mine. It will brown a little darker darker color but will have a richer flavor with the sugar. You can make thicker slices cut pockets in the middle and stuff them with cream cheese %26amp; 1 t of cinnamon mixed in. Soak than fry. Top with sweetened strawberries, whipped cream and hot syrup.

Double this!

2 eggs,

1/2 cup milk

1 t vanilla

1/4 t salt

1/4 cup sugar

little allspice

little cinnamon

Several pieces of 1 '; thick sliced french bread or stale bread slices will do.

Oil

Mix the first 7 ingredients, whisk till will mixed. Soak the bread slices in it for about 15 min or till soaked completely.

Heat oil in a skillet( not much just enough ocover the bottom of skillet) heat to med high. When bread is fully moistened drip off excess and lay the bread in the heated oil. Brown on both sides. Now you can drain on paper towels and serve you do not have to put them in the oven like this video!
