I just need a basic inexpensive recipe for french toast for mothers day, please list the ingredients and the procedure. Thanks ^_^I need an easy and quick recipe for french toast?
ingredients: bread, egg(s), milk, topping. Pam or light oil.
Heat a skillet to med high with Pam sprayed in it or light oil such as soy oil or something like that. Put the egg(s) and milk (about 2 Tbs/egg) into a bowl and beat with a whisk. Dip the bread in the bowl just long enough to coat it (do not let it soak and get soggy) then immediately put in the trying pan. Turn when light brown (about 30 secs depending on heat).
Top with powdered/granulated suger, maybe some cinnamon - or some people use syrup.I need an easy and quick recipe for french toast?
Ingredients: 2 eggs for every 3 to 4 pieces of toast.
Milk (i just pour some in)
splash of vanilla
shake of cinnamon
Whisk above in a bowl. Dip both sides of bread through the mixture. Place in heated skillet with melted butter. Cook on one side until brown flip it over and repeat on that side. Serve with warm syrup or my favorite powdered sugar and cinnamon. I also recommend using Texas Toast. This is thicker. It will use more of the egg mixture. Mommy will love this.
Scramble some eggs(bout 8) add 3 T sugar, 1/2 t nutmeg, 3/4 t cinnamon %26amp; 3T milk. Whip with a fork till blended(cinnamon will stay on top anyway) Heat margarine over med- high heat, dip bread into egg mixture %26amp; flip over to coat both sides. When pan is heated add coated bread to pan, lower heat to medium %26amp; brown %26amp; turn to brown the other side. Add more cinnamon %26amp; nutmeg as needed for more bread to coat. Serve with butter, syrup %26amp;/or peanut butter, or jelly or powdered sugar.
All you do is beat a couple of eggs, put the bread in it to soak, then put in hot pan and brown till the egg is cooked then in a bowl put sugar, cinnimon, and some brown suger mixed and coat bread on both sides and serve with syrup. Don't need no stinking recipe.....
