French Toast.


2-3 size 6 (46 g) eggs


1/3 cup Milk


录 teaspoon cinnamon


陆 teaspoon vanilla


1 table spoon sugar


1-2 tablespoons oil or butter


4 slices toast bread.


Beat eggs, milk, cinnamon, vanilla and sugar together until well blended.


Heat oil in fry pan until hot.


Dip slices of bread in egg mix, both sides.


Do not soak the bread.

Chocolate stuffed french toast


Ingredients:


French bread


chocolate chips or chunks/morsels/etc


5 eggs


1 C milk


1 ts each cinnamon %26amp; vanilla





The night before you want to serve this:








Cut a loaf of French Bread into very thick slices. In each slice make a 3/4'; cut to make a pocket. Spoon 2 heaping ts chocolate into the pocket. Close pocket with a pinch of the bread.


Place into greased 9x13'; baking dish. Mix up the eggs, milk %26amp; cinnamon/vanilla. Cover %26amp; refrigerate overnight.





Preheat oven to 400F. Bake 20-25 minutes uncovered.
Beat up some eggs (2 or 3) with some milk or cream (1 T) (add a splash of vanilla if you like).





Make little french bread (or any bread but stale or hard bread is better; too soft bread might fall apart in the egg mix so do it fast if you use regular sandwich bread) sandwiches filled with strawberry jam and cream cheese (or any kind of jelly or jam).





Heat up a skillet to medium. Grease it (my wife would use butter, I use oil). Dip the sammies in the egg (I soak mine for a little bit, but my wife hates that and soft bread will break apart). Grill them until brown on each side. Make sure the middles are warm.





Some sift powdered sugar on top. Serve with warm maple or strawberry syrup.

I use long loaves of french bread and cut them into thick slices and then slice part way down the middle of each thick slice to make a pocket. Spread cream cheese and maybe a little jam inside the pocket. Mix 3 eggs, 1/2 c milk, 1 T sugar and some vanilla if you want. Put the bread in the egg mixture and let it soak up the eggs, turn once. Then fry in a med hot skillet with some butter.
My son loves RR so he watches her show when he gets a chance. One day she made a Peanut butter and jelly french toast and he has been making it ever since. He will eat them for breakfast, snack , lunch, it doesn't matter. You just make a PB and J sandwich dip it into the egg and fry it.
My sons use to love it when I'd slice a pocket into the bread and add a small slice of banana and a piece of chocolate. The chocolate melts as it cooks. Mmmmm Mmmmm Good!
add blueberry or strawberry cream cheese to 2 slices bread. place together.
